About Ron Johnson
More Than a Personal Trainer A Partner in Lasting Change
Growing up, I struggled with my weight and confidence. Like many people, I believed genetics determined my future. I spent countless hours in the gym chasing results without understanding the science behind fitness, nutrition, and behavior change.
Everything changed when I committed to learning not just how to exercise, but why lasting transformation happens.
That journey changed more than my body- it changed my life.
Today, I bring more than a decade of professional coaching experience, over 20,000 hours of personal training, and a unique combination of expertise in fitness, nutrition, psychology, and human behavior to every client I work with.

Education & Professional Expertise
I earned a Master of Science in Industrial & Organizational Psychology, where I studied motivation, behavioral science, performance improvement, leadership, and sustainable habit formation.
In addition to my academic background, I am also a:
- NASM Certified Personal Trainer
- Certified Nutrition Coach
- Certified Professional Coach
- Strong Certified Special Needs Trainer (Special Needs)
- TRX Functional Training Certified
- Rotator Cuff Rehabilitation Specialist
My background allows me to coach the whole person—not just their workouts.
A Different Approach to Fitness
Fitness is about much more than losing weight or building muscle.
It’s about improving your quality of life.
Whether your goal is to:
- Lose weight
- Build strength
- Improve mobility
- Recover confidence
- Increase athletic performance
- Reduce stress
- Improve overall health
- Build lifelong healthy habits
I create personalized programs that meet you where you are and help you move toward where you want to be.
Adaptive Fitness for Every Ability
One of the most meaningful additions to my practice is becoming a Strong Certified Special Needs Trainer.
I now provide adaptive personal training designed for individuals with autism, Down syndrome, stroke recovery, physical disabilities, and other neurodiverse populations.
Every client deserves the opportunity to experience movement in a way that is safe, empowering, and enjoyable.
My adaptive fitness philosophy focuses on:
- Building strength
- Improving balance and mobility
- Increasing confidence
- Supporting independence
- Celebrating progress at every level
My Coaching Philosophy
Real transformation happens when fitness, mindset, and consistency work together.
Rather than offering one-size-fits-all programs, I build customized plans around each client’s goals, lifestyle, and abilities.
My mission is simple:
To help every client become stronger not only physically, but mentally and emotionally while building the confidence to live a healthier, more independent life.
Together, we’ll build strength, confidence, and lasting change one workout at a time.
